Build a custom dashboard to track your team's progress.Integrate with your existing tools and services.Create a bot to answer common questions.Automate posting updates to your team channel. Here are some examples of automations you can build with Pipedream on Slack: It just makes it easier to automate anything you'd typically use the Slack API for, using Pipedream workflows. You don't interact with it directly as a bot, and it doesn't add custom functionality to your workspace out of the box. The Pipedream Slack app is not a typical app. When you authorize the Pipedream app's access to your workspace, you can use Pipedream workflows to perform common Slack actions, or write your own code against the Slack API. So basically, it boils down to three big things: 1) status controls and customization by meeting category, 2) per-category DND controls, and 3) a way to sync your status with videoconferences in Zoom. The Pipedream Slack app enables you to build event-driven workflows that interact with the Slack API. This is a feature that doesn’t exist anywhere, including Slack’s Google Calendar integration. So even if a Zoom meeting isn’t on your calendar, or if it is on your calendar but ends early, your status in Slack will update. Lastly, with this recent release of our Zoom integration, you can also tell Slack to automatically set or clear your status when you enter or leave a Zoom call. For example, if you want to be DND anytime you’re on a customer call, you can set that via Slack. The same thing applies to DND - if you want to set DND for particular types of events, you can do that via our integration.Reclaim’s Status Sync feature lets you set per-category controls for your status - for example, if you want your status to say “Personal Commitment” when you’re at the doctor or running errands, you can set that via Slack (along with any custom emojis you want to use). The GCal status sync feature is pretty all-or-nothing: it either says that you’re “In a Meeting” or available, and you can set yourself to DND for all calendar events or none at all.Great callout! There are a few really big differences between our Slack Status Sync feature vs. Check out the Zoom + Slack status sync tool on Product Hunt and share your honest feedback! So anyways, as a Slack superuser, we'd love to hear what you think. I should also note that this is a complementary, not competitive, integration to Zoom's own Slack integration which is awesome for starting meetings, but does not offer status sync. Zoom and Slack are essentials in our book, and you shouldn't have to pay to make these two play. This feature is and will forever be, free forever at Reclaim. It also leaves it up to you as far as how aggressively you want to defend against distractions over Slack, whether softly with a status update, or silence completely with DND when you're on a call. So, instead of leaving yourself open to interruptions during your important calls, you can communicate context around what you're doing to your team so they can better understand if it's a good time to connect. It basically allows you to auto-sync your Slack status to "in a meeting" or set Do Not Disturb (DND) when you enter/leave a Zoom call, even if it's not on your calendar or the meeting ends early. I wanted to share a new Slack integration that just launched on Product Hunt today that's a huge help for anyone who regularly attends Zoom meetings: Zoom + Slack status sync
